 SYNOPSIS

Haley is a young exotic dancer imprisoned in an unpleasant world infested with drugs, prostitution and violence. Her boyfriend J.J. is a petty thug who has always gotten what he wanted, especially innocent young girls. Haley was once one of these girls who naively fell for J.J. She has since done everything asked of her despite the mental and physical abuse involved.

Now J.J. is tired of nickel and diming his way through life. With a huge payoff in mind, he forces Haley to seduce a strip club patron named Big Game James. An ambush ensues, ending with J.J. bludgeoning James to near death. J.J. takes what he can from the victim - his cell phone, his .38 revolver, his black 1964 Chevy Impala - and drags Haley into the lower depths of San Francisco society in search of refuge.

The fugitives eventually separate to gather the emergency fund that J.J. had previously stashed away. Along the way, Haley meets a lonely cab driver named Mark. J.J., on the other hand, gets sidetracked by his own demented needs, in the process growing even more reckless and destructive by the moment.

Meanwhile, Big Game James comes back to life. Once an intimidating figure before being reduced to a bloody pulp, James embarks on a trail of destruction in search of the couple who left him permanmently disfigured. With both the law and vengeance breathing down their necks, Haley and J.J. soon discover that the road to Hell begins and ends in San Francisco.
